Blankets & rugs, let's go there. Let's wear them. I've been piling on oversized blanket capes, faux fur anything mixed with plaid tops or flannels. Don't forget the details though...add in gold accents, fringe or even sequins to your look. Mix textures, mix patterns.

I'm saying hello to 2013 in a casual but GLAM sparkly outfit. There's nothing wrong with a texture overload...I mixed velvet, faux fur, metallic, sequins and of course, spikes.
These high waisted velvet jewel-tone leggings are an amazing deal...ebay! I also got a great deal on the vest, couldn't pass it up...I love oversized layering pieces. Nude pumps are from Aldo and the arm party is a mix of Express and AC | Design. Necklace is also AC | Design. As for the sparkly gemmed up hair, those are rhinestone stickers from the scrapbooking section at the craft store. They're pretty easy to take out too since they just use double sided tape.
