Casual Street Style - Akron Ohio
NOTO wrap - Missguided studded hat
Here's a rainy day casual look I threw on last week. I wore basics with some rad statement accessories...great street style! These relaxed "combined" pants from Zara are my jam! They are half sweatpants, half denim. Weird, right?...but awesome.
The shawl from NOTO really topped off the casual clothing items. I love being able to drape on a patterned accessory...without it being a scarf around my neck. I have jewels to show...no room for a neck scarf! haha! The cool blues of my necklace and boots added the extra punch and color contrast I was looking for. The vintage earrings are from a great shop in Cuyahoga falls, The Hidden Pearl.
I love exploring local shops during my lunch break like NOTO and the Hidden Pearl. Anytime I can support people who love what they do, I'm game. If you're in Northeast Ohio, be sure to frequently shop at these boutiques.

metallics & mustard oversized sweater
NOTO mustard oversized sweater - tortoise statement necklace

ODE Vintage - Choies Metallic Skirt

Choies metallic skirt - Sam Edelman ankle boots
A warm (yet WINDY!) day of winter i  tried to bask in some rays while dressed in warm citrus tones and metallics. The wind beat me up a little bit but I enjoyed the peek of sunshine and getting to be outside without worrying about getting frostbite.
I'm in love with this vintage rainbow glitzy top! It's from Cleveland's own, ODE {Vintage} Check out Olivia's online shop and pick up some of her fabulous finds.
Another favorite is this oversized mustard sweater from NOTO. Be sure to stop in at the store in downtown Akron, Lauren has several different styles of these sweaters AND new arrivals just hit this week. Can't wait to go shop!

NOTO fashion show

Akron Fashion Show

Akron Fashion - local jewelry design
The 2013 NOTO fashion show was so much fun. I had several of my jewelry designs in the show...I loved getting to see them "in action" on the runway. I am a firm believer in detail...the details always make the design complete. This is true when I'm designing a jewelry piece and also when I'm putting together an outfit. My current collection plays with a mix of materials...there's anything from leather, parachute cord, acrylic chain to clay. I love a good challenge and experimenting with all these different materials. This collection is currently for sale downtown Akron in NOTO. Be sure to check it out!
