I enjoy all the details of this causal outfit. There's a ton of gold accents, lace trim and studs. Each piece is quite bold in it's own way, it makes a statement and adds to the overall look.
I actually had an older woman say that I look weird and pretty all in the same sentence. She had a confused yet happy look on her face, so I accepted it as a compliment. She was working at an antique mall in PA and I bought this gorgeous vintage gold bracelet from her. It was a steal at $15... this style of bracelet would be $75 or more at JCrew. I love adding my personal touch to things. I'm also currently obsessing with all the 3-d scrapbooking/craft stickers. (Ooooo the possibilities make me giddy!) Anyhow, this is my very first phone case. I decided I actually wanted to take care and baby this iphone so I ordered a plain gray case and went to a craft store to pick up these stud stickers. For a little extra stick, I used Jewel-It glue. Create a pattern, stud the whole thing...whatever you want. It's fun and adds character to your phone. Happy stickering!

Denim Transformation Series:

Summer heat = needing more shorts! I have tons of old jeans so I’m turning them into cutoffs…with a creative twist, making each pair unique!—————————————————————————————————————

To make this pair of denim cutoffs unique, I made 2 floral stencils out of a heavy card stock paper and I then painted a gold pattern on the bottom of the shorts. For added detail I added large multi-toned metal studs by the pockets.
