CROPS, BELLS & LACE UPS
These styles are my favorite for fall. It's all about a modernized 70s vibe. If it has a bell or if it laces up, rock it.
The beautiful denim bellbottoms are from PYLO. I have the Gypsy Minor Bellbottoms in Creedence (for the shorties). They fit like a dream. The high waist and the oversized bell is the way to go!
Lace-up flats are an item I've been eyeing. I'm not a big fan of flats but the criss-cross action has me interested. They'd pair great with cropped pants or a cute mini.
Another look I love are the giant bell sleeves...even better if the top laces up. Too many trends in one item? ....pssssh never ; )

The button front a-line mini skirt is the current "it" skirt. I've been seeing it in a variety of fabrics including denim, suede and corduroy. With it's high waist, it's good to pair with a crop top or tuck in a blouse with long bell sleeves. Rock that 70's vibe.
Here are a few options to shop:

Ok, so a denim outfit isn't anything new. (I know we all remember Brittany and Justin.) ...but somewhere, somehow, someway wearing the blues (all blue) has become the norm...the new neutral...the new everyday look. I'm down with that. Supposedly jeans are on their way out but that doesn't stop us from wearing chambray button ups and denim skirts...like, everyday.
Ok ok, so maybe not evvvvvvery day but the simplicity sure is attractive and I think that's why I'm drawn to it.
I like to have different washes as well as varying styles so I can easily mix up my look. When paired together, the light and dark washes contrast each other and look great together. Check out the outfit details below.

This sleeveless blazer / sleeveless jacket style was a hit this past fall and will still be ready to rock this spring now that it's warming back up. I'm a lover of vests and layering so no need to talk me into this look. Plus, these simple and clean line styles are easy to pair with a n y t h i n g ! ! !

Flannel is everything. This current trend really brings back the 90's in a glam way. It works as an easy way to tone down a dressier look, while adding an amazing pop of color and pattern. Also, don't be afraid to mix a flannel with polka dots or other simple patterns. Get crazy & have fun with it!
Is this getting you in a wintery holiday spirit yet?

Each season Nasty Gal continues to blow us away with style and trends...including hair. This hair cut is everything and it has bombarded viewers in the latest new arrival photos for NG clothing. The style is so fresh, distancing us from the old and setting a clear path to move forward. I love this look, no outdated hair will do!

Never thought I'd like such a simplistic earring. Simple yet different...which actually makes them quite bold. This double sided earring style has been quite popular since spring and will still be the trending item for fall.Thankfully, I was able to find these locally at Aldo accessories...saves me some waiting and shipping $. I'm totally digging the wing pair from Nasty Gal in the top photo...i mean, c'mon, so cool.

Get ready for some mixing of neutrals this fall. It always seems to be the season that's best to get back to basics. Blacks and blues are some trendy (& perfect) hues to indulge in right now. The simplicity in colors will make your wardrobe versatile by being able to easily mix and match...not to mention, add a huge level of sophistication to your look.
My wardrobe is focusing on black & white pattern tops, simple ankle boots, chambray tops, crop tops, and some funky jackets...including this fun gray & black color block. I'm looking forward to exploring this palette and creatively layering items together.

I'm welcoming my old friend, the choker necklace, back to life. I had and made so many of these necklaces in the 90's, so many. These simple beauties are a big deal this fall. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the different styles and seeing how I can make this old trend from my grade school days, new again. Expect more posts to come and of course some styles in the shop!

Here's a Spring & Summer favorite of mine, matching separates. The most popular style I'm seeing everywhere is the fitted bodycon...decked out in awesome 90's patterns, of course. I'm having flashbacks of Clueless episodes as I write this...and I love it. Don't be scared to match it up and wear bold patterns.

Wow, wow, wow! I'm so excited about this look! Pastels are still in for Spring but now it's time to pair them with a dark & BOLD color. Last year it was about the all light colored everything...for Spring 2014, layer on multiple pastel colors then set the look off with a punch of vibrant burgundy or a deep rich brown with a red-ish hue. Oh my! I especially love the look with light blond hair, dark brows and a dark lip mixed with accent pastels. You'll be seeing a lot of light and dark mixing this spring, so try it out!

Vinted is amazing! It's a fashion app where you can buy from and sell to other trendy females just like yourself! You can even swap items.
So fun! I've started selling items from my closet on the app. It's so user friendly and easy! I have some items up on ebay but let's be honest, it's a pain in the but. With Vinted, I can post an item within a few seconds. Also, it's all fairly trendy clothing...much from other fashion bloggers, so there's a great selection. It's a must try!

Say hello to this winter's hottest accessory, the veil beanie. It's such a fun twist to the classic stocking hat. It's a great way to either glam or punk up an outfit. Getting your hands on one from a store is quite difficult right now because of the high demand but luckily, it's such an easy DIY.

WANTED ASAP! The 90's slipdress is so simple, so perfect. This minimalist style is back hardcore...and I'm trying very hard to get into it. I always like to go with very bold, highly unique pieces with lots of detail so 90's minimalism will be quite a challenge for me. Yet at the same time, I'm realizing simplicity is very bold and unique as well. Check out these lovely dresses here: 1 /// 2 /// 3 /// 4 /// 5

Where to start? I asked Thresa Venables, stylist at the salon Sheer Professionals for great brow tips (she rocks!) It's pretty simple. Grab an angled brush and a neutral eyeshadow. I've just been using a pressed powder shadow I already have. This works great to give a softer look. Just because we want a bold look doesn't mean we have to use harsh lines from an eyebrow pencil. Just brush in the color where you want it. You can even apply a little to get started while getting used to the look. Give it a try!

It's no secret I'm all over this pom pom trend. Love these little things! I've been using them to decorate my house, Christmas tree and of course, using them as fashion accessories. You can use them to make a garland or as a cutesy keychain for your purse. When all else fails, throw them at your cat.
Also, awesome news!...you can buy Glam & Grace DIY's and designs on ETSY!
Go ahead, snatch em up!
