Just when I thought the ear cuff trend was over, Lulu Frost and Houghton's New York Fashion Week collaboration made my jaw drop. These are some gorgeous, bold, on-of-a-kind and elegant statement ear coverings. Just...wow. You can always count on Lulu Frost to take it to the next level. Mad love for these beauties!

I'm welcoming my old friend, the choker necklace, back to life. I had and made so many of these necklaces in the 90's, so many. These simple beauties are a big deal this fall. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the different styles and seeing how I can make this old trend from my grade school days, new again. Expect more posts to come and of course some styles in the shop!

I think at this point it's safe to say we're all sick of winter. I'm ready to bust out a bunch of cute open toe or cut-out shoes but let's be honest, here in Northeast Ohio, it's gonna be some time before that's possible. Ok ok, so we're left with the "problem" of STILL wearing the boots we've been trudging around in all winter…after all these months and all this snow, they're probably looking a little sad, worn and ready for some rest…so the question stands, how do we still rock our battled and bruised footwear during this seasonal transition? Give them a simple makeover! Yep, just a little something to tide you over till the weather shapes up. These boots were just looking a little blah to me so I snatched up some bold & bright laces from Jcrew. This was such a simple and easy way to add a pop of color and give these tired kicks new life. Of course, I also had to add a few jewelry elements just for fun. I popped on a tassel to the one while for the other I added some brass bars on tiny chain...nothing too match matchy ; ) What are some creative & fun fashion experiments you're doing to tide you over till the new season hits? Sometimes a simple switch is the best!

Had a WILDLY AWESOME time getting the lookbook shot for my fall line on Sunday. It was great to see everything come together, jewelry, outfits, location and then seeing these final shots. Lots of work has went in to the creative process for the jewelry itself AND for the direction of this shoot.
I love to create jewelry that is able to be layered and paired with one another. There are two separate necklaces styled in each photo...Wear it simple or create a killer statement necklace.

I've been hard at work lately coming up with some new styles for my line, AC | Design.

I love designing...getting to experiment with color and texture, it's truly my passion. Above, is my wildly colorful pom necklace which features removable pom pom keychains. The scarf is an upcycled t-shirt with crocheted stands added in for texture. The bottom pic features new spring pieces, which will be out in local shops and in the online shop SOON!
