Pastel Dreams feature lighter illuminating shades with a strip of metallic gold in the middle.
If it's mega color you want, go with the Good Vibes palette. It's definitely more of a saturated rainbow look...of course, still with that metallic good-good in the middle.

THE GOOD MACHINERY
ARTEFACTS COLLECTION
DRESS.DANCE.SING.LOVE.LIVE. Store
Etsy Finds:
Here we go! I found a few notable goodies on Etsy. These shops were stand outs for their overall aesthetic, desirable items, cohesive line and general breath of fresh air. I picked a variety of styles to accommodate various tastes. Check out their shops and support these bad ass makers.THE GOOD MACHINERY - resin bracelets
ANNA JOYCE - hand painted, hand dyed fashion & home accessories
ARTEFACTS COLLECTION - upcycled vintage kilim textile handbags, geometric wooden jewelry
YAYOI JEWELRY - quartz crystal statement jewelry
DRESS.DANCE.SING.LOVE.LIVE. Store - hand dyed home goods, handbags and accessories
Etsy Real Talk:
Oh Etsy, the frustration. It might make you cringe even thinking about shopping on the site. While it once was a powerhouse for indie designers, it's now filled with anything from mass produced crap from China to your every single friend who puts a bead on a string. Heck, I think my cat is even on there selling his fur balls.
Let me tell you it was a frustrating experience rummaging the site for designers, but once I found them, the struggle was all worth it. I've been hunting for original designs and creatives who kick ass at what they do. I know they're out there and I want to support them and be inspired by their awesome. (Keep in mind, this is only what I could find.)
Etsy Search Tips:
Know the buzz words for what you're looking for.
To find anything worthwhile on Etsy, you need to be specific. I used trending grouped keywords in my search, (more the better), tassel statement jewelry, geometric statement pendant, quartz crystal pendant, crushed pyrite pendant, rope fringe necklace, copper rope necklace. Being too general will land you in the desert with no water in sight.
Favorite all the shops and items you're interested in
This is somewhat of a handy little tool. Base on items and shops you favorite, Etsy will suggest similar shops/items for you to check out. Its another helpful way to shift through the frustrating mess.
Unfortunately, those are all the tips I have. The site has become so saturated that it's a struggle to find what you want. Good luck and I'd love to hear about your favorite makers and designs!

Ok, first things first...I'm shaking my head at myself right now realizing how many style posts I've done wearing leopard. The animal print overload is actually not intentional. Haha! I promise to die it down a bit.
I like to consider this look "Unpolished Jcrew". I've paired a Jcrew hat & (wrinkled) chambray button up shirt with a cutout shoulder crop top and a Karmaloop one piece leopard romper. Its an interesting blend of street style and classic prep style. - - - It's easy to go to one store and deck yourself out in only their clothing...You might end up having some boxed up style but you'll lack individuality. Challenge yourself to explore styles and brands. Mix & combine them. Break all the rules!
Lets talk about my sunglasses obsession right quick...gah! Yes, those frames are mirrored in the front, a gorgeous silver. These beauties are by Minkpink and I snatched them up from ASOS at a crazy low price.
Also, you can pick up my handmade jewelry line (pictured above), from either my shop or on Vinted!

My favorite item from this look is the handmade hanky scarf from Little Birdie Design Studio. I've gotten to hang with Little Birdie numerous times at various art events since 2011. I love all of her designs! This scarf, I finally bought at this past NOTO fashion show and it's added some serious style to my summer wardrobe. Note, that it's red and I paired it with the pink ombre dress, only a crazy person would do that...so glad i'm that person.
Also, check it, I have a new pair Vintage up cycled boots available. They're a size 8.5 but fyi, I'm a 7 and I was able to wear them comfortably for this shoot. They're a lovely statement piece to add to your Summer to Fall style transition.

Some of my new Spring jewelry designs debuted at Great Lakes Fashion Week! I always love seeing my pieces on the runway. I worked with a lot of iridescent rhinestones and turquoise for this collection. Such a killer Spring and Summer look for this year! Also AC Design will now be part of the Glam & Grace name! The new shop name is www.glamandgraceshop.com

I guess you could say last week was a pastel party! From lavender hair, to pastel cookie gobbling. From jewelry line designing to holographic animal clutch totin. I've been heavily inspired lately by my childhood cartoons and toys. I, not so secretly, want to be a My Little Pony (don't we all?) I'm sure this exploration will continue for awhile...so bare with me! It shall be fun, I promise.
Enjoy some lovely images of my week at a glance.

Thankfully stumbled upon Elf, an online store (located in Bali) that beautifully showcases and sells their collection of high quality hand made leather shoes and hand bags. I love their simplistic yet unique style!
