For these pins, I've combined several elements; poms, beads, and fringe. Also, each one is totally unique. My favorite way to style one of these pins is to rock it on a handbag. Perfect little (yet bold) accessory!

Shoe your furniture! The brand, Pretty Pegs kinda makes wish I had ikea furniture. They've created table and sofa legs that you can switch out from the Ikea original. With their own designed styles, you can add character, color and well, just make your furniture your own. These are perfect for anyone that loves design down to the little details! I've been gushing over this Ombre Popsicle Spell Dress from UrbanOG. This bodycon midi dress would be super cute to wear for a night out as is with simple accessories...but I, of course, had to uniquely style it. I paired it with some loud patterned tights and a polka dot head scarf. These funky accessories make this dress more of a casual street style. The white and black accents also add another graphic punch to this look. Check out more outfit details below!

Kimonos are my favorite piece right now for summer. It's a ridiculous obsession I have. The sheer chiffon material is lightweight and flowy...perfect to dance around in on warm days and nights. I paired it with a simple t-shirt and shorts from JCrew. The Jeffrey Campbell spike mules and cutout sunglasses from Bonlook are fabulous statement accessories to add more boldness to the look.
Get the kimono here! I will have several in the Glam & Grace shop soon!

Saturday was the Goodwill Akron Blogger Style Challenge and the store was buzzing! I had a fabulous time hanging out with other area bloggers (including Dina's Days who planned the event!) and chatting with shoppers. For the challenge, we each had $20 to spend and 30 minutes to scour and ransack the store. (just kidding about the ransacking, wink wink). Thankfully, I shop at the store quite often and knew exactly where I needed to go to search for fab finds. I had an idea to try and do a trendy layered look with some sort of a very unique statement piece. First thing I wanted to find was a great skirt...and man, I found a gorgeous fringe maxi. Boom! There was my statement piece! I then based my outfit around it. The fringe was a very bohemian style so I looked for casual neutrals to go with it. For an interesting twist I added a dark gray metallic sparkly Zara top to layer. I felt it added some color depth and a hint of glam to the look. As I was lost in happy designer/styling land, time flew by and it was time to show off our looks! It was cool to see all the other bloggers finds & treasures...and also how they styled them. This was such an inspiring community event. I hope more events like this pop up. It's a great way to show that fashion is about style and not having to spend big bucks.

This Saturday join local fashion bloggers at Goodwill (Waterloo Rd) for a fun style challenge! Should be a cool event. Goodwill Akron is my favorite spot to find one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, I'm constantly there rummaging though the racks. It's kinda like heaven.
Can't wait to hang out with my fellow fashion lovers and get some great pics from this experience!
The lovely Dee from Dina's Days has organized this event. Below are more details:
On May 10, 2014 a group of area bloggers will have 30 minutes to style a look under $20 at Goodwill on Waterloo Rd in Akron. Think of Supermarket Sweep, but with clothes! After the 30 minutes are up, the bloggers will get to share their finds and model their look in the store. Shoppers and guests will then vote for their favorite look!
We're so excited to have these ladies on board for the challenge. Come out and support your favorite bloggers!
