Hey guys, I moved...again! I was fortunate enough to nab this  b e a u t i f u l  space in Cleveland's Slavic Village area. After much debate, eventually I felt assured it's right where I want to be and should be, but that's another post.

This space brings many healthy challenges. Let me start by saying that everything is open and there's only one closet. Woahhhh, right? Pretty much everything I have and who I am will be out "on display", that's a little crazy to think about. Most people would try to make extra storage spaces or try to think of ways to cleverly conceal clutter...aka organizing. I've chosen to not go that route. I don't want clutter, I don't want what isn't needed. Please know that each person defines what's needed in their lives differently...and trust me, it's a process and a journey when you decide to go with less. All I know is that I want to live well in this gorgeous space. I don't want to over clutter it with things that don't matter, things I don't need to hold on to.

I'm enjoying / getting used to having a smaller space. As far as size, this loft is about a 1/3 of the size of my house...crazy, right? My house has 4 floors including the basement and finished attic. There were many rooms and spaces I hardly spent time in, yet I wanted to fill the whole place with pretty things...so I spent a lot of time and money doing so. I don't necessarily have anything against that but I felt as if I was focusing on the wrong things in life. I mean come on, I had multiple rooms to keep clothing...remember my dressing room?...Beautiful, but time to head in a different direction and have a different focus. I've really been pairing down what I take with me though this life and will hopefully continue on this path.

sleeveless blazer - sleeveless jacket trend

This sleeveless blazer / sleeveless jacket style was a hit this past fall and will still be ready to rock this spring now that it's warming back up. I'm a lover of vests and layering so no need to talk me into this look. Plus, these simple and clean line styles are easy to pair with  a n y t h i n g ! ! !

Guys! The struggle is real, Winter is lasting forever! Combat the cold with a little style creativity. All winter I've ditched my usual brights for a more neutral monochromatic looks. That doesn't mean an outfit has to be plain though. I played with bold patterns and chunky textures for this look & and topped it off with gold accents. I love the contrast and warmth the gold brings to this otherwise gray outfit. Since the tights are CLEARLY a statement maker, I paired them with the smaller stripe texture of the sweater. When mixing patterns always vary the size. If one is a statement maker, have another that's a little more subdued. Be bold & have fun!
