A friend and I run a small girls studio in South Akron on Wednesday nights. For one of the classes we made salt and sugar scrubs. It was a hit! The girls loved experimenting with different ingredients and were excited about how soft their hand were after using it.
Well...I think I'm obsessed with making my own now. It's natural and so easy to make. The ingredients I used for this scrub are: Organic Sunflower Oil, Himalayan Pink Salt, Lemon Zest and Rosemary. And so you know, I'm one of those people that don't follow recipes / directions so I added the different elements to my own taste. If you accidentally add too much oil, just add more salt...no big deal.
Let me know what you think of this scrub! I'll be posting a sugar one soon as well.

What a gorgeous event at Charles Scott Salon in Rocky River! As I walked around, mingled with fabulous ladies and snapped some photos...my glass was constantly being filled with wine! (They know how to keep a lady happy!) Suddenly a friend and I were wisked away to be given a tour of the open, airy and relaxing salon. Next thing we knew, the gracious and very friendly staff had us seated at a hair station and pampered us with a fresh hair styling. Such a lovely event and had fun chatting with Marissa Frobes from Elle, Katherine Boyed from Q104 and the Wella Professionals rep!

I kind of have this problem when I go into Sephora, I get sucked into buying more then what I went there for. It definitely doesn't help when all the associates recognize me because I'm in there so much and start excitedly telling me about the new product that they just got in which they know I'll love. Ha! I love it, It's always good times.
Recently, I found these GORGEOUS colors in the clearance spot. My heart fluttered especially when I saw they were only $5. Score! Nails Inc. is now one of my favorite nail polish brands. The pink (not on nails) is Islington crackle. Turquoise is Clapham crackle. My favorate, mustardy-cheastnut color is Hampstead Gardens.
