Wednesday, April 27, 2016
Get your rainbow cheeks while its hot! The most beautiful spring palettes are available at glamandgraceshop.com! Illuminate your face with rainbow hues from the Bold Cheeks collection.
Pastel Dreams feature lighter illuminating shades with a strip of metallic gold in the middle.
If it's mega color you want, go with the Good Vibes palette. It's definitely more of a saturated rainbow look...of course, still with that metallic good-good in the middle.
For an all over illuminating highlighting glow, grab the Speckled Illuminator. The various gold tones will have you looking oh-so glam.

It's fall & I'm denying it. Don't be fooled, I was super cold wearing this tank body con...but I just wanted one last hoorah before officially sporting cold weather gear.
Anyhow, check out that wild geometric pattern. Pastel is certainly not dead...yet. I love how it's mixed with black and white, an extra graphic punch. Asos is always my go-to spot for grabbing some killer on-trend sale dresses. To compliment the dress, I wore my new Cleated Sole Chelsea Boots from Missguided, light gray upper with a bright white sole. On-trend, bad-ass, sleek & simple. They certainly add an extra edge to this look.
ALSO, I have a NEW leather harness style available, the Caged Choker Body Harness is in the shop!

I've been so hooked / in love / inspired by vintage pastel pink spaces. Surprisingly, I have ZERO pink rooms in my home (trying to be smart about resale, which is never fun). If the exterior of my house was pink like the above photo, I'd be ok with that. In fact, I'd probably melt every time I saw my place.
Ok, clearly, I've been drooling over glam pink vintage spaces...then I ran into this pastel dresser at The Bomb Shelter. I think I stood there just looking at it for 15 minutes. The detail and imperfections are gorgeous. I'm going to continue to let this style be my current inspiration for my entire design world...maybe I'll create that dreamy pink space after all...

This Fall you'll see me wearing A LOT of Olives and Burnt Siennas mixed with pastels. It's to die for. It's the ultimate fall color combination for 2013. I'm currently designing more pastel jewelry so keep checking back in my shop! These pastel colors are the perfect pop off the darker muted tones.

It's almost Fall and it's vest time! Vests are simple way to layer and add character to your look. Right now they are my #1 go to item / layering piece. I got this one at Forever 21. I'm not a big fan of that store and cheaply made clothing (I can't believe I'm mentioning/promoting them in a blog post) but they actually have some decent vests right now at budget friendly prices.
Oversized pieces (sweaters, vests & blazers) are still the rage so pair it with a fitted tapered pants. I love these metallic pastel ones by Gianni Bini (Dillards). They once again remind me of what an 80's cartoon character would wear...and I can't turn that down.

I guess you could say last week was a pastel party! From lavender hair, to pastel cookie gobbling. From jewelry line designing to holographic animal clutch totin. I've been heavily inspired lately by my childhood cartoons and toys. I, not so secretly, want to be a My Little Pony (don't we all?) I'm sure this exploration will continue for awhile...so bare with me! It shall be fun, I promise.
Enjoy some lovely images of my week at a glance.

To bring in the Summer I'll be rocking a caramel & cotton candyish inspired, retro look. Since becoming a BonLook ambassador, I was dying to get the new La Marquise glasses in Crystal Sand. (check out their glasses...I have 4 pairs!) Wowww do I love these!!! The lighter color blends with my skin and hair. Of course, I like to add a punch to my look by adding a bold lip color.
My hair was done by the lovely Thresa Venables at Sheer Professionals in Wooster. They are by far the top salon in Northeast Ohio...you must go there!
The necklace is one of my newer designs, you can check it out in my AC | Design shop.
